The Maker Days series is designed to get you acquainted with the Makerspace at the TCTC Learning Commons. Within this series are events where what you make will help you succeed in school and events where what you make is just for fun. The space is yours to create in, so feel free to work on projects in the Makerspace.

Register Now One person’s trash is another’s treasure. Get creative and use your imagination to make art or inventions out of gently used cardboard, scrap paper, and prototyping supplies in the makerspace. In the process, we’ll review helpful brainstorming, designing, and prototyping skills.

Silly scans aside, 3D scanning is used for a wide range of applications in manufacturing, architecture, healthcare, and cultural preservation. We’ll discuss how to operate the 3D Scanner, capture detailed 3D models of objects, and explore the post-processing techniques used to refine the scans.
