Technology and Spaces: Home

This page highlights the different physical and digital technology available to students and faculty at the learning commons.
Study Spaces

At the Learning Commons, there are many places where you can comfortably study and get your work done. Throughout, there are tables and seating areas where you can access TCTC wifi. There are also collaboration rooms that can be reserved for up to two hours to have a separate space to work within small groups. Please speak to the person working at the front desk to see what rooms are available as they are reserved on a first come-first served basis.

Technology

At the Learning Commons, you will have access to useful technology including:

  • Wireless Internet
  • Computer stations
  • Printing, Scanning, and Copying
  • Screen sharing monitors
  • Equipment checkout

And check out our tech equipment you can borrow for your coursework!

The TCTC Pendleton campus maintains loanable equipment for podcasting, audio recording, shooting video, and a whole lot more, from speakers and mics for your presentations to graphing calculators for your math and engineering homework! These items can be sent to other campuses for you to pick up and check out there too. See our guide above for procedures and to browse what's available!

Makerspace

The Makerspace at the Learning Commons is a place for students to collaborate and create. The Makerspace is continually building resources to provide students a functional space to create.

Check out the Makerspace!

Check out our Makerspace Event Series each semester. Learn about what's possible in the space and create something to take with you!
