There are several assistance programs (English / Spanish) that provide supplemental food for you and your family. These programs increase food security and reduce hunger by providing individuals and families in need access to healthy food.
Food pantries can directly distribute food items to those in need. Food pantries put together packages of unprepared food for people who have homes but don't necessarily have the means to feed their families on their own.
Soup kitchens, meal centers, or food kitchens, are places where food is offered to the hungry for free or at below market price.
