Picking a book
As you determine which book you are going to read, keep in mind where you'll be going with your research. It may be helpful to pick a book from an author or culture that you connect with, are interested in, or have some other experience with or relationship to. This way, you'll be more likely to enjoy the research you do to complete the project, and your final paper will likely be better as a result!
You can also get a head start on your research. If you're unsure about choosing a specific book, do some initial research to find out about its context or some basic biographical information about the author. Using the resources below will be helpful.

You can easily search for an author by name, title of work, subject/genre, nationality, date and place of birth, honors, awards and much more.
