Oral History: TCTC Oral History Project

Tri-County Technical College is proud to partner with Clemson Downs, the only continuing care retirement model serving the Clemson family. As part of Alex Eaton's Oral History Course at TCTC, students have been conducting interviews since 2016. Shortly, we will publish our documents and make them available to the public. Student's work will create data and materials for historians, folklorists, novelists, musicians, sociologists, and anthropologists as they develop interviewing skills and learn about their community. This project started as an initiative to collect recorded oral histories where it has become a significant student learning and engagement program. Professor Alex Eaton founded the project in 2016 and is ongoing.

All interviews published here will have been authorized for publication by all parties involved and is meant to be used for educational and research purposes only.
